Drafted as the 5th overall pick by the Los Angeles Spark, she played in the WNBA until 2008.

During her 10-year tenure in the league, Allison played for two other teams- Charlotte Sting and Indiana Fever.

Despite a glorious career, she finished her WNBA career with 2,260 points, 693 rebounds, and 406 assists, leaving behind an enduring legacy.

Moreover, alongside her WNBA career, she also played for various women’s basketball teams based in France, Italy, and Spain before retiring professionally in 2016.

Sarah has earned notable honors early in her career, including the 2026-23 Gatorade Player of the Year, and has won two golds as a member of the USA’s FIBA U18 World Cup.

Love for basketball runs deep in the family, with her husband, Danny Strong, also involved in the athletic world.

Sarah’s dad, Danny Strong (b: January 18, 1975), a former professional basketball player, has left a remarkable legacy.

A native of Great Falls, South Carolina, he played collegiately at the Spartanburg Methodist College before transferring to NC State University.
