The celebrated fitness coach and athlete, Mike S Nguyen, known online as “mikepro_champion,” is going through grief as his father passed away on June 22, 2026.

Mike S Nguyen took to his Instagram to share the devastating news of the passing of his father due to prostate cancer.

He posted a carousel of eleven nostalgic photos capturing moments with his father from years past. Mike S. Nguyen started the emotional post:

It is with deep sadness to say my father has passed away the other day. He was a true warrior battling prostate cancer, and my family and I will all miss him.

Mike reflected on cherished memories, such as his father’s playful sense of humor, love for cars and dogs, passion for music, and his ability to find joy in life’s simplest pleasures.

The fitness coach also opened up about the emotional distance they faced, sharing that his demanding work habits, location, and other circumstances often kept them apart.

We did not get to see each other as often as I wanted due to work, location, and some other complicated personal things. But I will never forget him and the times we had especially throughout my early childhood.

Later, in the post, Mike revealed that he would need some alone time to process the sudden loss, writing:

I will be be taking the next week off away from work, the gym, and the company to absorb all of this in and be with family. Appreciate you all for understanding.

Besides the devastating news, details surrounding his father remain concealed from the media. Likewise, information about the funeral service has not yet been published.
