Brian Nicholas Cousins, aka Cuzzy, is a professional Canadian ice hockey player for the Florida Panthers in the (NHL).

The player was born on July 20, 1993, in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. He started playing at the age of 16 for four seasons (2009–2013) of major junior hockey against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

As a result, Nick scored 102 goals and 189 assists for 291 points, as well as earning 261 penalty minutes in 264 games played.

The Philadelphia Flyers selected Cuzzy in the third round with 68th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Additionally, he signed his first professional entry-level contract with the Philadelphia Flyers for three years on March 26, 2012. Like this, the officially started his playing career at the age of 19.

Cousins, who played center on the team and is also known as the Flyers’ top prospect, was charged with sexual assault soon after he started his journey.

Eventually, after the charges were dropped, the player made his NHL debut on March 17, 2015. Brian decided to sign a one-year contract worth $1 million with the Montreal Canadiens on July 5, 2019.

After the termination of the contract, he again received a two-year contract worth $3 million with the Nashville Predators on October 9, 2026.

Without delay, on July 13, 2026, after the expiration of his contract with the Predators, Cuzzy attempted to join his sixth club, the Florida Panthers and signed a contract as a free agent for two years with a $2.2 million contract.
