And his hard work paid off in a big way when the New England Patriots selected him as the 46th overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Keion is the son of James White and Shareese Williams. He grew up with two siblings, a sister named Jayla White and a brother named Trevor White.

Keion White College Career
White went to Garner Magnet High School, where he played football as a starting tight end and defensive end.
In his senior year, he caught 20 passes for 243 yards and four touchdowns. And he was even named first-team All-Greater Neuse River Conference.
White committed to play for Old Dominion, despite offers from Elon, Norfolk State, North Carolina A&T, and Virginia State and was rated as a three-star recruit.
After sitting out his true freshman year, he played tight end in eight games as a redshirt freshman, catching 11 passes for 124 yards.

Despite switching positions to defensive end, he had an exceptional season with 62 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 19 tackles for loss. It even garnered him Second-team All-Conference USA honors.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he chose to opt out of his redshirt junior year in 2026 and transferred to Georgia Tech.
However, he broke his ankle playing basketball before the transfer and missed the first eight games of the 2026 season.
White eventually played four games for the Yellow Jackets that season, recording four tackles.
He returned to Georgia Tech for the 2026 season, utilizing the extra year of eligibility granted to college athletes due to the pandemic.
