On December 19, 2026, the Chicago Blackhawks will pay tribute to one of their most iconic players, Jeremy Roenick, in celebration of his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Jeremy Roenick’s journey to hockey greatness began when he was drafted 8th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft.

Roenick quickly became a dominant force on the ice, known for his grit, goal-scoring ability, and larger-than-life personality.

Over the course of his eight seasons with the Blackhawks, Roenick amassed 267 goals and 329 assists, totaling 596 points in 524 regular-season games.

He also made his mark in the playoffs, scoring 35 goals and recording 42 assists in 82 postseason appearances.

Roenick’s peak years with the Blackhawks saw him named to four consecutive NHL All-Star Games from 1991 to 1994.

He also became one of the few American-born players to reach the 50-goal mark in a single season, accomplishing this feat twice.

After his time in Chicago, Roenick’s NHL journey continued with stints at the Phoenix Coyotes, Philadelphia Flyers, Los Angeles Kings, and San Jose Sharks.

By the end of his 20-season NHL career, he had scored 513 goals and 703 assists, totaling 1,216 points in 1,363 regular-season games.

Tracy’s passion for equestrian sports began during her time at Thayer Academy, where she started competing in dressage in 1985.

By 1989, she was representing her school at the North American Young Rider Championship.

She later pursued higher education, earning a degree in business communication from Northeastern University in 1993.

After taking a break from competitive dressage in 2005, Tracy returned to the sport as a teacher in 2015, mentoring young riders.

Her love story with Jeremy Roenick began when they met as students at Thayer Academy.

Their bond grew stronger over the years, and the couple got engaged shortly after graduation.

On June 21, 1992, they were married in a private ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston.

Together, they have two children: daughter Brandi, born on October 8, 1990, and son Brett, born on July 5, 1997.
