Late American businessman and owner of the Indianapolis Colts, Jim Irsay’s daughter, Kalen Irsay, met her husband, Boyd Jackson, at Indiana University.

The Indianapolis Colts their new organizational structure on Monday, June 9, 2026, following the death of former owner Jim Irsay.

All three of Irsay’s daughters, Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt, and Kalen Jackson, will serve as owners of the franchise.

While Irsay-Gordon, Foyt, and Jackson will have ownership status with the club, Irsay-Gordon will assume the role of CEO.

She will serve as the team’s “principal owner,” per a team statement. The team added that these news roles were “longstanding plans set forth by Jim Irsay.”

Jim Irsay on May 21, 2026, at 65. The Colts have been owned by the Irsay family since 1972.

Jim’s father, Robert, initially purchased the Baltimore Colts that year. After 12 years in Baltimore, Robert moved the team to Indianapolis.

Jim assumed team ownership after Robert died in 1997.

Under Jim’s ownership, the Colts reached the postseason in 16 of 28 seasons. The club made it to the Super Bowl twice, winning one championship.

Kalen Irsay Resides In Indianapolis With Her Husband, Boyd Jackson, And Two Daughters

Kalen Irsay and Boyd Jackson met at Indiana University and started dating each other. After several years, the couple tied the knot in 2016.

Irsay took to her Facebook handle and shared of their wedding. Their relatives and close friends took to the comment section and congratulated the newlywed couple.

On August 17, 2017, Irsay again took to her Facebook handle and shared a photo of herself with a baby bump to announce her . They welcomed their first daughter in September 2017.

They welcomed their second daughter a few years later. However, the couple has managed to keep their children away from the media.

Kalen and Boyd currently live in Indianapolis with their two daughters.

Kalen Irsay’s Husband, Boyd Jackson, Is Listed As A Pro Personnel Assistant

As per the , Kalen’s husband, Boyd Jackson, has been listed as a Pro Personnel Assistant for the Indianapolis Colts.

He likely supports the team’s scouting and evaluation of professional players, which includes analyzing NFL free agents, waiver wire transactions, and other professional leagues to help inform roster decisions.

Boyd was born to Doug and in Angola, Indiana.

He grew up with his brother, Clinton Douglas Jackson, who lives in Los Angeles, California.

Boyd’s maternal grandmother, Sue Cooper Brown, lived much of her life in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and retired from the Fort Wayne Community School system.

The family held a private memorial service in the Westernvelt-Warner Chapel with Dr. Kevin Cauley officiating.
