The American professional baseball player Kyle Tucker has an elder brother who also played baseball in the MLB and guided Kyle towards his own MLB journey.

Kyle Daniel Tucker currently plays for the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball (MLB). 

The Houston Astros drafted the right fielder in the first round as the number five overall pick in the 2015 MLB draft.

On July 7, 2018, he made his MLB debut against the Chicago White Sox and has been playing for the Astros ever since.

Kyle then went on to become the with the Houston Astros.

In addition, he won the Gold Glove Award and was named to the All-Star team in the same year.

Before MLB, the Florida-born player enrolled in Henry B. Plant High School, where he performed brilliantly.

He featured in Perfect Game’s All-American Classic and was named the 2015 Florida Gatorade Player of the Year.

Much like his younger brother, Preston Michael Tucker is also an American professional baseball outfielder.

Standing 6 feet tall, Preston had played previously in the MLB for the Houston Astros, Cincinnati Reds, and the Atlanta Braves.

Even though Colorado Rockies drafted Preston in the 16th round of the 2011 MLB draft, he did not sign and returned to Florida.

Later on, the Houston Astros selected first outfielder Preston Tucker in the seventh round of the 2012 MLB draft. In 2015, he eventually made his MLB debut with the Astros.

Preston played 243 games with the Astros, Cincinnati Reds, and Atlanta Braves throughout his time in MLB.

He hit 23 home runs and 68 RBIs with a career .222 batting average.

Furthermore, he also played in the KBO League for the Kia Tigers for two seasons.

Regarding his personal life, he has been married to Haley Waters, an LSU graduate, since January 8, 2026.

Preston started guiding his younger brother at a young age, giving Kyle a comparatively quicker start than other kids.

Kyle Tucker has a mixed ethnicity, as his mother, Lisa, has Spanish ancestry. 

The Tucker brothers also have a sister named Hannah Tucker, who is married to Robert Rhodin.

On September 17, 2026, Preston and Kyle Tucker surprised the world as they hit three home runs on two different continents on the same day.

Preston Tucker had hit two home runs in the game against Samsung.

The Kia Tigers won that game in the Korean Baseball Organization league in Dageu, South Korea.

His brother, Kyle, was not any less as he hit a home run and completed a run , keeping their playoff position intact.

The events took place on the same day in two cities over 7,000 miles apart in a nearly 12-hour period.

Reports had that it was probably the first time brothers hit homers on the same day on two continents.
