Following the post, many people in the comments shared their suggestions and remedies.
One user with simple experience in the comments wrote;
Lume was a game changer for my daughter. They have a wash that she can use on her armpits and then when she gets out of the shower, make sure she dries her armpits really well and then put on the cream deodorant.
In the same pots, another one wrote;
You’ve gotten some good suggestions- especially with the detox which would help a ton! But I personally have tried SO many deodorants- I have a nickel allergy so had to start young with finding the more natural ones. Native deodorant was good until a couple of years ago when the stores picked them up and they definitely changed their formulation. Nuud has been a game changer for me! It’s a cream that you put a small amount on every 2-3 days. You can still perspire but the odor is totally gone. I’m a heavy sweater but I think it was because the deodorants always used an oil carrier and I think my pits were just clogged so my body would over compensate. Once I changed to Nuud, sweating decreased SIGNIFICANTLY and NO odor! Bonus is there is no fragrance, so when I do wear some smell goods- you can just smell them and not my deodorant competing with it!
While many in the comments have offered a variety of remedies and medical products, a few also seemed to offer homemade remedies and local products.
Lastly, many suggested exploring natural remedies, dietary adjustments, and medical solutions to help their teens stay confident and odor-free during intense physical activity.
