Former Washington HS Football Player Alvin Corado’s Fiancé Faces Heartbreaking Loss of Her Kids and Stepchildren in Fatal Colorado Crash

In a devastating crash on Highway 83 North in Douglas County, Colorado, Alvin Corado, 35, lost his life along with three children: 8-year-old Toretto Corado, 12-year-old Makenlee Corado, and 12-year-old Jase Green.
Two children survived the crash — 13-year-old Mia Corado and 14-year-old Jordan Green — but now face a long road to physical and emotional recovery.
Jennifer Watkins, Alvin Corado’s fiancé and devoted mother to Jordan and Jase, now navigates unimaginable grief.
She mourns the man she planned to marry while also coping with the loss of her beloved son, Jase, and her stepchildren, Toretto and Makenlee, whom she had raised and loved as her own.
Despite the immense pain, Jennifer is focusing on supporting her surviving son, Jordan, through trauma no child should endure, while trying to hold her family together.
The tragedy has left the families not only heartbroken but also facing mounting funeral costs, medical bills, and time away from work.
Supporters have established to help ease the financial burdens and allow the families to focus on healing.
Jose Rodriguez, uncle to Toretto, Makenlee, and Mia Corado, described the shock of the incident.

Rodriguez’s family learned of the crash through a Life360 alert shared on social media.
He shared the joy the children brought to everyone’s lives:
“Just firecrackers. Makenlee always had the jokes. Toretto was always full of life, building little inventions with his papers. Spider-Man was always his favorite. They lit up the room any time they walked in.”
Mia Corado, one of the survivors, is recovering at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora.
She suffered a fractured pelvis, a lacerated liver, and a hole in her esophagus, but doctors report she is responding well to treatment.
Rodriguez emphasized the importance of family support and urged others to focus on their loved ones.
“Life is precious, and it can change in an instant. Hug your family a little tighter,” he said.
Jennifer Watkins now faces the most challenging time of her life, caring for her surviving son while honoring the memories of those lost.
The community has rallied around the family, providing financial and emotional support as they begin the difficult process of grieving and recovery.
