Born and raised in Cincinnati, Jeff was a proud alumnus of St. Xavier High School and Xavier University.

His passion for sports and mentorship shone through in his decades-long commitment to coaching youth soccer in the Village of Indian Hill, where he lived for 50 years.

He adored Northern Michigan more than any place on earth, particularly its Great Lakes, small lakes, rivers, streams, and everything that involved water and boats.

Jeff cherished time spent cruising Crooked Lake in his 15-foot Boston Whaler and enjoying rounds of golf with friends at the Camargo Club in Cincinnati and Harbor Point Golf Club in Harbor Springs.

Not to forget, Jeff played a pivotal role in designing Rheinstrom Park for the Village of Indian Hill’s green area committee in the 1980s.

Alongside his wife, Emily Graham Schoeny, he spent countless hours walking their dogs along the park’s loop.

Professionally, Jeff was a respected businessman who carried forward the legacy of Schoeny Foods, a century-old family business in Cincinnati.

In the 1990s, he ventured to South Florida, where he founded a successful produce brokerage. It was his honesty, enthusiasm, and talent that formed strong connections and earned him respect and success in his field.

Now that he isn’t anymore, this tragic news has affected everyone who knew him.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Indian Hill Episcopal-Presbyterian Church, located at 6000 Drake Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45243.

During this ordeal, we offer our sincere condolences to his wife, children, grandchildren, friends, and extended family.

Rest In Peace, E. Jeffrey Schoeny!
