Russell Wilson Jr., a 22-year-old former basketball player from Caldwell, is facing serious legal trouble following a home search that led to multiple charges.
According to reports, he has been charged with counterfeiting and drug-related offenses.

Russell Wilson Jr. Faces Two Second-Degree Felony Counts Of Counterfeiting!
Known for his athletic contributions to the basketball team, Russell Wilson Jr. attended Caldwell High School in Caldwell, Ohio.
While he wasn’t widely covered at the collegiate level, he was a promising player in high school.
Recently, he has been under investigation and has been criminally charged following a search of his residence on July 16, 2026.
Police from the Noble County Sheriff’s Office, New Concord Police, and the U.S. Secret Service searched Wilson’s home and arrested him for using fake money and drug-related activity.
The investigation began when counterfeit bills were traced to local businesses.
Video footage, vehicle details, and federal involvement helped link Wilson to the alleged crime.
Officers also found drugs, leading to a charge of drug trafficking.

He has been charged with two counts of felony counterfeiting and one count of drug trafficking.
Regarding this case, Noble County Sheriff Jason Mackie said:
This arrest highlights the value of interagency cooperation. We will continue working with our partners to hold those accountable for their actions to protect our community.
Authorities stated that the case is still under investigation and additional charges may be forthcoming.
It’s unclear what Wilson has been doing recently, but this marks a significant turn in his life after his time as a student-athlete.
As of now, he is awaiting preliminary proceedings, including arraignment and a Grand Jury review.
