Former Archbishop Wood High School athlete Christopher Augustine tragically passed away on Friday.

Christopher Augustine, born on August 18, 1984, was raised in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.

He was an athlete at both Archbishop Wood High School and Holy Family University, where he Computer Management and Information Systems.

Though he excelled at swimming and often raced in smiley-faced and rainbow-dolphin Speedos, his passion was soccer.

He played goalie and was so committed to each game that he ended up with a titanium elbow after diving for a ball.

Christopher was also a coach for several community teams, including those affiliated with Corpus Christi Catholic School and Towamencin Soccer Club.

Christoper Augustine Passed Away At The Age Of 40

Christopher Augustine, who was an athlete at Archbishop High School, took his last breath on Friday, June 27, 2026, at the age of 40.

However, the exact cause of death has not been revealed yet.

Lansdale, PA, resident Scott Burns organized a fundraising campaign on to raise funds to help Christopher’s family financially for funeral expenses and living costs during this unimaginable time.

The campaign aimed to collect around $35k, but it has only collected $15,500.

Other close ones and relatives have also poured their heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Christopher’s family to stay strong in this challenging moment.

Chris will always be remembered for his contribution as an athlete.

As per his family, a visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, followed by Chris’s Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m.

The family will be holding a private burial at a later date.

Late Christopher Augustine And His Wife Linda Were Blessed With Three Children

An athlete at Archbishop High School, Christopher Augustine, married Linda Horn Augustine in 2009.

As per the , Linda serves as a 6th-grade teacher at Corpus Christi CYO.

Although Linda stays away from social media, she always supported Christopher in balancing his professional and personal life.

Sadly, their married life ended after 16 years following the tragic death of Christopher.

Christoper and Linda were blessed with two daughters, Samantha Rose and Julianna Grace, and one son, Luke William.

His three children were the loves of his life and his favorite people.

Currently, they are mourning the tragic death of their supportive and devoted father, Christopher Augustine.
