Bryant Wesco Jr., an American college football wide receiver for the Clemson Tigers, is grabbing people’s attention with his emerging career.

Bryant began his athletic journey at Midlothian High School, where he excelled in multiple sports, including football and track, and won several honorable titles.

Bryant Wesco Jr. was born on September 22, 2005, as one of the two children of parents, Bryant Wesco Sr. and Tambia Wesco.

He has a sister named Bailey Wesco who is also an exceptional athlete.
Bailey played soccer at the University of Oklahoma and the University of North Texas.

While at North Texas, Bailey won several honorable titles, including American Athletic Conference All-Conference second-team honors and a spot on the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll.

Furthermore, Bryant and Bailey inherited their athletic genes from their parents, Bryant Sr. and Tambia, who are both former collegiate track stars.

Growing up along the Mississippi River in New Orleans, Bryant Wesco Sr. initially dreamed of becoming a basketball star. His path shifted in high school, where his competitive spirit and raw athletic ability led him to the track and field team.

At Destrehan High School, he discovered his gift for jumping, eventually winning his very first triple-jump competition despite entering by accident.

Wesco Sr. went on to compete for Louisiana Tech University, where he became one of the most decorated athletes in program history.

Standing 6’4”, he excelled in both the long jump and triple jump, posting multiple school records.

During his sophomore season, he surged into national prominence—earning Outstanding Meet Performer honors at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships, finishing runner-up in the triple jump at the NCAA Indoor Championships, and later setting another school record outdoors.

Wesco Sr. capped his collegiate career as a five-time All-American, 16-time All-Conference performer, and 11-time Sun Belt Conference champion, while also helping LA Tech win the 1999 Sun Belt Indoor team title.

His achievements earned him induction into the Louisiana Tech Athletics Hall of Fame in 2026, cementing his legacy as one of the school’s greatest track and field athletes.

After graduating from Louisiana Tech University with a BA in Psychology in 2000, Bryant Sr. as a staffing manager at Merchandise Support, Inc. (Eastman Kodak). Since 2006, he has been working at T-Mobile as a North Texas talent scout and Senior Recruiter in the back office.

Simultaneously, he serves as a career agent at Globe Life Liberty National Division-Team Sellers Agencies.


Bryant also earned his Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Ashford University in 2019.


While very little information is available about Bryant Wesco Jr.’s mother, Tambia Wesco, she was a 1999 all-conference selection at Louisiana Tech University.
