Sean Michael McDermott, the head coach of the Buffalo Bills in the NFL, married Jamie after dating for several years despite their five-year age difference.
Born March 21, 1974, Sean started his NFL coaching career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2001.
He served as the Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive coordinator from 2009 to 2010 and then held the same role with the Carolina Panthers from 2011 to 2016.
Since joining the Buffalo Bills as head coach in 2017, McDermott has led Buffalo to five straight division titles and its first AFC Championship Game since 1993.

Born on June 25, 1979, Jamie grew up in Pennsylvania and attended La Salle College High School with Sean McDermott.

However, after graduating, their paths diverged- Sean pursued a degree at William and Mary College in Pittsburgh while Jamie continued her education.
Despite their different directions, their relationship remained strong, with Jamie supporting Sean as he transitioned from studying finance to beginning his NFL career.
The couple married in 1999, but the family relocated to different locations over 16 years due to Sean’s career.
When Sean became head coach of the Buffalo Bills in 2017, the family was prompted to move to New York.
During this time, Jamie focused on family life and maintained a low public profile, continuing to support Sean through the demands of his career.
Sean McDermott revealed, only after he had been cured that he has been treated for skin cancer since 2017.

Moreover, he is known for being among the first to enter the facility and the last to go, a practice he picked up when assisting his father with window washing.
Despite the demands of being an NFL head coach, he takes solace in his routine.
Now, regarding their kid, the couple, Sean and Jamie McDermott, have three children together.
Their first daughter, Madeline, was born in 2010, followed by their son, Gavin, in 2012, and their third child, Kelly, in 2017.
Sean’s upbringing is not only seen in his work philosophy but also in how he raises his children.
