Baylor defensive lineman Alex Foster tragically passed away at the age of 18 after being shot multiple times in Greenville, Mississippi.

He was found in a car at the scene and later succumbed to his injuries at Delta Health Center.

Foster was a promising young athlete, having redshirted his freshman season, and was expected to play a significant role for Baylor in the upcoming season.

Originally from Greenville, Mississippi, was a highly talented and promising defensive lineman for Baylor University.

Tragically, his promising career was cut short, leaving his family and the Baylor football community in deep mourning.

Stiffany Frazier, who referred to , shared a heartfelt tribute on Facebook.

She expresses the deep shock and disbelief over his passing, wishing that it were all just a bad dream.

She recalls a recent moment with him, saying:

Was hoping I would wake up and it was all a dream or at least you made it through. (Cheche’s favorite little big cousin.) I can still hear you from a couple of weeks ago when you visited. ‘Stiffany, you done got soft—you were the toughest one!’
