Zane Smith, an American professional stock car racer, is engaged to his girlfriend, McCall Gaulding. 

A child prodigy, Smith started driving go-carts at age five after racing BMX for a few years.

After winning the cart racing championships consecutively for five years, Smith switched to Legends car racing.

Zane had early successes, recording wins in the World Series of Asphalts, the CARS Tour, and the Pro All-Star Series by 2015.

Compared to his amateur career, Zane has achieved a lot less in his senior racing career.

Zane debuted in the Xfinity Series, competing in the Boyd Gaming 300 race in 2026. After that, he participated in eleven races in two years, but without success.

However, he has recently been one of the most successful young racers in the truck series.

Appearing in about 81 races in five years, he has won nine times and achieved a place among the top ten over 50 times.

Smith competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for Front Row Motorsports Team.

Zane Smith Wife: Relationship With McCall Gaulding

There is a widespread belief that is Zane Smith’s wife, but it is false. Well, the two are already engaged and set to marry sometime soon. At least, they are not married for now and are just fiancees. 

Likewise, it is unclear when Zane first met McCall and began a relationship. However, seeing their chemistry on social media, the two seem to be dating each other for a long time.

After years of dating, the lovebirds announced their engagement through their Instagram handles on April 30, 2026.

During the vacation to Folly Beach, South Carolina, Zane proposed to her on April 29 with a ring, to which McCall said, “Yes.”

Zane shared their engagement ceremony pictures on his Insta again a year after their engagement.

However, fans have been following the two for a long time and do not want to wait anymore to hear about their wedding.

McCall Is From North Carolina

The professional racer’s fiancee, McCall Gaulding, was born to her parents, Dwayne and Krissy, on March 20, 2001, in Statesville, North Carolina.

Though her father’s family is originally from Virginia, all her siblings were born in North Carolina.

Besides, she has a brother named Gray and a sister named Kennedy.

Raised in Statesville, she attended Celeste Henkel Elementary School in North Carolina alongside her siblings.

Her sister, Kennedy, attended Northeastern University in Boston. 

Meanwhile, her dad, Dwayne Gaulding lived in Colonial Heights, Virginia, in his youth and graduated high school in 1989 from Colonial Heights High School.

After marrying Krissy, originally from North Carolina, he shifted to his wife’s hometown and decided to settle there for good. The couple has been married for nearly two decades now.

All their children are engaged now, and they are happy that they raised them well. Aside from that, McCall Gaulding’s family members are so glad that she fell in love with Zane as they love motorsport racing.

Her parents often go together with McCall to watch and cheer up for Zane during his races.
