As a result, Travis’ agent altered his basketball contracts before those contracts were sent to his tax preparer.    Furthermore, the second charge alleged that Travis used the tax returns that underreported his income to reduce his child support payments to an unidentified individual.   The payment agreement was managed by the Stark County Child Support Enforcement Agency.   On March 20, he pleaded guilty to both federal charges. All in all, the Akron native must pay about $375,000 in restitution for the unpaid income taxes and faces an uncertain amount of time in prison.   Also, his sentencing has been set for July 20. It will be settled in U.S. District Court Judge Christopher A. Boyko’s courtroom.
