Phoenix Suns end Knicks winning streak as Devin Booker gives consistent plays

New York Knicks entered the court with a nine-game winning streak against the Phoenix Suns who lost their last two games in a row.

No. 4 in Eastern Conference New York Knicks started strong taking the lead in the first quarter and full control over the Suns for the first three quarters.

But as soon as Chris Paul started to play well for the Suns, the Knicks started to lose their rhythm.

Ultimately the Knicks lost to the Suns 118-110 ending their winning streak after 9-games.

Meanwhile, the Suns ended their back-to-back two-game losing streak after the win.

The Suns ended the Knicks longest winning streak

The Knicks made a record of the longest winning streak in eight years.

While the Suns made a record of back-to-back losing streak game for the first time this season.

But everything changed in tonight’s game with the Suns defeating the Knicks ending the knicks’ longest winning streak.

And also ending their own losing streak.

The Knicks started strong taking control over the Suns early into the first quarter.

Reggie Bullock made the first shot of the game for the Knicks, knocking down a three-pointer.

But the Suns’ replied with a three-pointer of his own.

However, the Knicks paced up making a 17-4 run to take a 13-point lead over the Suns.

The Suns trailed the Knicks throughout the 1st quarter and the Knicks taking a 7-point lead to finish the quarter.

In the second quarter both the teams scored equal points 27-all.

And the Knicks continued their lead with the score made in the first quarter.

The third quarter started at 58-65 with the Knicks in the lead.

and Chris Paul scored back-to-back buckets for the Suns to start the third quarter cutting the lead to two points.

For the rest of the quarter, both the teams went back and forth making buckets without letting other teams take a big lead.

With 2:15 remaining in the third quarter, the Knicks and the Suns were at 79-83.

Then Booker scored a layup to start a 4-0 run.

The run gave the Suns lead over the Knicks for the first time in the third quarter. However, the Suns answered back.

And dropped a dunk on the Immanuel Quickley pass to tie the game at 87-all to end the quarter.

The Knicks star Derrick Rose dropped back-to-back shots to give the Knicks a four-point lead early in the fourth quarter.

The Knicks were down a point with 6:32 remaining in the fourth. The Suns extended the lead and were 8-point ahead at 4:49 remaining.

They then never looked back as in the few minutes left to end the game Cam Johnson hit three in a row from the perimeter.

Similarly, made one more three-pointer.

Subsequently, Chris Paul scored seven points in a row in the last seconds to seal the victory, ending the Knick’s winning streak.

The Knicks were 51.7 % from the field while the Suns were 54.2 % from the field.

Likewise, the Suns were 41.2 percent from the 3-point line making 14 of their 34 3-point shots.

The Suns had 6 blocks and 5 steals with 8 turnovers scoring 44 points in the paint.

While the knicks only had one block along with 6 steals and 10 turnovers scoring 52 points in the paint.

Devin Booker performed well from the start to hold the Suns in the game that they were losing for the first half.

A30-15 deficit for Phoenix was cut down to seven at the end of the opening period, with doing most of the work.

He consistently performed well throughout the game to lead the Suns to take the win at the end of the game.

Likewise, also scored well, dropping 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists along with some big shots for the win.

Chris Paul scored seven points in a row along with the last shot to seal the game for the Suns.

He finished the game with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Cameron Johnson and dropped 11 points each coming off the bench.

Meanwhile, Derrick Rose led for the Knicks with a score of 22 points along with 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.

He came off the bench to score all those points playing 33 minutes.

Reggie Bullock and both scored 17 points for the Knicks, while Immanuel Quickley dropped 11 points coming off the bench.

Next for the Suns and the Knicks.

The Suns have a tough road ahead as they face top teams.

They face off No.3 in Western Conference LA Clippers on Thursday and subsequently face No. 1 Utah Jazz on Saturday.

On the other hand, the Knicks comparatively have an easier road as they face No. 11 in Eastern Conference Chicago Bulls.

Similarly, they face Western Conference’s No.15 Houston Rockets on Monday.
