She’s a PhD in educational psychology so very technically I guess. She just like, laid the facts out – ‘This is what happened and this is what’s going on. We wanted to keep it from you.

She also recalled how, after his death, she would make up stories that he had simply gone away for business.

De Mars’s relationship with Ronda Rousey’s biological father did not work out, and the couple eventually split.

After that, she remarried Dennis De Mars, an aerospace engineer who is now Ronda’s stepfather.

In addition to being a supportive mother and wife, she is a successful professional in her own realm. She herself admitted once :

I love being Ronda’s mom, just like with all my kids, But, believe it or not, that is not the only thing I do.
