Florida Panthers’ Winger Brad Marchand Celebrated Stanley Cup Win With His Three Kids And His Wife, Katrina Marchand

Brad Marchand has two daughters with his wife, Katrina, and one son from Katrina’s previous relationship.
Brad Marchand waited 14 years to lift the Stanley Cup again, and it’s fair to assume he probably never thought he’d do so as a member of the Florida Panthers.
After such a long wait, Marchand into decisions about what comes next as he approaches unrestricted free agency.
Just minutes after Florida’s 5-1 Game 6 win over the Edmonton Oilers clinched back-to-back titles for the Panthers and Marchand’s second championship.
First, since leaving the Boston Bruins, the veteran forward was asked whether there was any chance he would return to Florida next season. Marchand said,
“We’ll see what happens here soon,”
Marchand joined Florida late in the season after a deadline trade from Boston in exchange for a conditional draft pick.
The winger had spent the entirety of his 16-year career in Beantown and was the team captain.
The trade proved to be a transformative move due to its immediate impact and how it helped the Panthers become the first team since the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2026-21 to win back-to-back Cups. Brad said,
“You never know how things are going to play out,” “I just wanted to come in and buy in and be part of the group and play whatever role I was put in and do it to the best I possibly can.”
Marchand became a key piece in Florida’s playoff run, finishing with 10 goals and 20 points in 23 games and as the runner-up for the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the Playoffs.
He credited Florida’s team culture for easing his transition. Marchand added,
“They’ve built an incredible culture in this room. It’s very easy to follow,” “And when you do that, you just leave it all on the ice.”
Brad Marchand’s Kids Wished Him Luck Through A Sweet Voicemail Before Game 6
Canadian ice hockey winger Brad Marchand has two daughters, Rue and Sawyer, and one stepson, Sloane Marchand, 15, born in 2011.
Recently, the Florida Panthers forward Brad’s kids left a special voicemail for him before he played in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday, June 17, 2026.
The Players’ Tribune shared a video of the call left by Marchand’s kids.
“No matter what happens in the game, we’re still proud of you. You’ve still got us and we’ve got you.”

At the start of the , each kid introduced themselves and said “Hi” to their father before congratulating him on making it to the Stanley Cup Final.
Brad’s daughter, Sawyer, said,
“No matter what happens in the game, we’re still proud of you,” “You’ve still got us and we got you.”
Then, Rue told Brad she loved him and called him the “best daddy in the whole wide world.”
Later, Brad’s stepson, Sloane, said,
“Just know we’re all very proud of you over here,”“No matter how this year comes to an end and how these finals end up, just know we all love you and support you and you’ve always got a family here with open arms when you come home.”
With the support of his kids, Brad was able to grab the final victory.
Following the win, Brad shared an emotional moment with his wife, Katrina, and kids, which was caught on video and went viral on social media.
In a video, Brad was seen sharing a kiss with his wife and picking up his daughters in his arms as the audience cheered for him. He looked visibly emotional at the win.
Brad’s wife spoke about the win, appearing excited and emotional. She said,
“Just recognition, we did it…I’m going to get emotional. Just telling us as a family, we did it. It’s worth it. We did it.” “Everything…Absolutely everything. He works his butt off every single day and to see it come to this after what he’s been through, not seeing everything play out the way we thought it would [in Boston], this means the world.”
