Dwyane Wade married Siohvaughn Funches, his high school sweetheart, in 2002.

Later, she trained as a Christian counselor, wrote books, and opened a nonprofit foundation.
However, reports in 2026 again suggest that she is facing homelessness and financial instability.
Other posts on Facebook and Instagram claim that Siohvaughn Funches is now homeless.
They allege she has publicly asked for help and is once again facing serious financial hardship.
