Destrehan Resident Hunter Graffia, 17, Faces Multiple Charges After Group Of Teens Causes Major Damage At Luling Golf Course!

On July 19, 2026, a group of seven teenage boys caused extensive damage to the Grand Ridge Country Club golf course in Luling, Louisiana.
Surveillance footage captured a group of six to seven minors near the pool area and back parking lot of the country club around 3:50 a.m.
The teens were seen driving two golf carts recklessly, performing donuts and nearly flipping the carts.
Their actions left deep tire tracks and damaged the course’s property, including tampering with the tractor’s wiring.
Following the incident, the and arrested all the individuals involved.
The group consisted of teens aged 13 to 17 from Boutte, Luling, and New Sarpy.
Their break-in and vandalism resulted in significant financial loss and disruption to the community.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded quickly and arrested all seven individuals involved.
Sheriff Greg Champagne described the incident as:
This was a senseless act of vandalism that caused real financial damage and disruption to the community, We appreciate the cooperation that led to quickly identifying those responsible.
Hunter Graffia Was Booked At The Nelson Coleman Correctional Center!
was 17-year-old Hunter Graffia of Destrehan. He was identified as the oldest among seven teens in the incident.
He faces several serious charges, including felony and misdemeanor criminal damage to property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and contributing to the delinquency of minors.
Authorities stated that Graffia played a leadership role in the incident by influencing the younger teens.
Hunter Graffia is currently being held in custody. After his arrest, he was transported to the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center, where he was officially booked on multiple charges.
His booking at the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center confirms that he is indeed in jail, pending further legal proceedings.
