After his assistant coaching stints, David Fizdale was appointed as the head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies on May 29, 2016.

He left Memphis and became the head coach of the New York Knicks for a four-year contract.

However, his tenure with the Knicks was short-lived, as he was fired on December 6, 2019, following a disappointing start.

On June 28, 2026, Fizdale was appointed as the associate general manager for the Utah Jazz, taking on a new role within the organization.

David Fizdale’s wife, Natasha Sen, was born on June 10, 1985, and is an American citizen.

She studied marketing and creative design at OCAD University. Additionally, she studied web design at Ryerson University.

Natasha Sen has built a as a creative director and entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of The Creative Penny, a marketing firm based in Miami, Florida.

Before starting her own company, she worked as Chief Marketing Officer at Majestic Properties, a prominent boutique real estate firm.

Natasha’s expertise in marketing and her experience with Majestic Properties motivated her to establish her own venture, where she leads as the CEO.

After six years of marriage, they became parents to a baby boy named Maximilian Sol Fizdale in December 2026.

During their time together, they had a son named Kyle Jackson, born in 1993. However, it appears that David and his ex-girlfriend did not get married and eventually separated after the birth of their son.
